AI Arcade was a bespoke interactive experience built for Holiday Extras Connect Week — an internal company-wide event. The app gave attendees a token-based mechanic for engaging with activities across the week, collecting digital tokens and redeeming them for rewards. Built from brief to launch in two weeks.
Connect Week needed a digital engagement layer — something that would encourage attendees to participate in sessions, visit stands, and interact with colleagues across the event. The solution needed to be simple to use, fun, and buildable fast.
The core mechanic was a digital token system — attendees collected tokens by completing activities and could redeem them for prizes or experiences. The mechanic was designed to be immediately understandable without a tutorial.
From design to working app in two weeks. Decisions were made quickly, scope was managed tightly, and the interface was kept deliberately simple to prioritise reliability over complexity during a live event.
The app was integrated into the broader Connect Week programme — QR codes, activity checkpoints, and a live leaderboard kept engagement high throughout the week.
