I created a central hub for creative briefs and design requests, connecting the intake process directly with Jira. The goal was to fix the root cause of unclear work entering the studio rather than managing the symptoms downstream.
Creative requests arrived through scattered channels in inconsistent shapes. The cost landed later as rework, clarification loops and unplanned demand that was hard to prioritise against anything else.
The hub guides requesters through what the studio actually needs to know — objective, audience, deliverables, deadline, context — so a brief arrives complete rather than as a starting point for a conversation.
Intake connects directly with Jira, so submitted briefs land as properly structured tickets. Nothing is re-keyed, nothing gets lost between a request and the work item.
With all incoming work captured consistently in one place, Brand and Design gained a real view of demand — making planning, capacity conversations and prioritisation possible rather than reactive.
Outcome
Fewer unclear briefs, better visibility of incoming work, and a more scalable process for planning and prioritising creative demand.
