I originated the creative ideas behind HX Connect's magical, Dungeons & Dragons and Victorian-inspired experience, then coordinated creative assets, task priorities and event plans across the whole event. Alongside the wider direction I led the AI Adventure — a hands-on learning experience built around a programmed robot arm and other interactive elements.
The overall creative direction — a magical, tech-fantasy world blending D&D and Victorian styling — gave the event a coherent identity that everything else could hang from, rather than a collection of unrelated activities.
I coordinated creative assets, task priorities and event plans across contributors, managing stakeholders, expectations and deadlines so the experience held together as one thing.
I led the concept, planning, design and end-to-end delivery of the AI Adventure — building and programming a robot arm and other interactive elements. The narrative was designed to teach colleagues how to use AI effectively: giving context and structured instructions, working around problems, and using credits efficiently.
I mentored two colleagues through app and game creation as part of the build — using a live, high-visibility project as the vehicle for building real capability rather than running training in isolation.
Outcome
A coherent event experience with contributors aligned around clear priorities — and a learning narrative that built real AI capability across the business, plus hands-on mentoring for two colleagues.
